Welcome to the Belle Mead Residential Post-Acute Programs

At Belle Mead, we recognize that everyone wants to go home following any type of injury. However, if you are browsing our website, you know that going home is not always an option. Sometimes a longer plan is necessary to ensure a successful outcome. Other times, home may not be the safest or most therapeutic option and a long-term plan is required. Belle Mead is here no matter the circumstance. Short or long-term, supports, and services are provided.

Belle Mead offers individuals with residuals from a neurologic injury or other neurological diagnoses a place where they truly can feel they are at home. Onsite and offsite opportunities, combined with everyday life challenges, help our clients achieve their highest level of independence and accomplishment with our guidance and support.

Some individuals with difficulties following a brain injury are able to live at home as they did before the injury while others have a difficult time adjusting to changes that primarily have taken place within themselves. It is not uncommon for individuals with these difficulties to deny they are any different than they were prior to the injury. This is particularly prominent when there are no physical injuries, or when physical injuries have healed, and those individuals look as they did prior to the injury. Looking in the mirror, the same person is reflected. Family members and friends may not see changes in their loved one for some period of time. Often it is following rehabilitation that indications occur. Little by little, there may be small things that appear during daily activities or, on the contrary, there may be one outburst or incident that makes it apparent there’s a problem.

The Belle Mead Residential Post-Acute Programs are here to help.
